In GigU, the Color Grading System is a tool designed to optimize trip selection. It serves as a visual guide, helping drivers quickly identify which trips are most advantageous. The system uses green, yellow, and red colors to indicate the quality of trip offers based on your settings for Earnings per Km and Earnings per Hour.
To configure it, go to Copilot > Cherry Picker and set the values according to your preferences:
- Earnings per Hour: Set preferred Earnings per Hour for a trip. "Bad" is an amount not worth accepting. "Good" is worth accepting.
- Earnings per Mile: Set preferred Earnings per Mile for a trip. "Bad" is an amount not worth accepting. "Good" is worth accepting.
- Passenger Rating: Set preferred Passenger Rating for a trip. "Bad" is a rating not worth accepting. "Good" is worth accepting.
Once the parameters are set, GigU will display overlay cards with different colors to help you quickly assess trip profitability:
- 🟢 Green: Highly recommended ride: Both Earnings per Mile and Earnings per Hour meet or exceed your "Good" threshold.
- 🟡 Yellow: Moderately advantageous ride: At least one of the values (Earnings per Mile or Earnings per Hour) falls below the "Good" threshold but remains above the "Poor" threshold.
- 🔴 Red: Less advantageous ride: At least one of the values (Earnings per Mile or Earnings per Hour) is at or below your "Poor" threshold.
The goal is to simplify decision-making, allowing drivers to maximize their earnings by prioritizing the most profitable and efficient trips.
